Creature Camp Recap 

What a wonderful week we had at Art with Ms. Becky Creature Camp June 15th-19th! Our campers enjoyed five days filled with creativity, teamwork, laughter, and hands-on fun as we explored some amazing creatures through art, games, and delicious treats.

Throughout the week, campers created:

Creature Camp Games

Campers stayed on the same teams all week, earning points in four themed games. On Friday, the team with the highest combined score received a brand-new paintbrush set to take home!

​

 

 

 

 

 

 

Working in teams, one camper bounced ping pong ball "flies" across the floor while their teammate used a frog-themed green Solo cup to catch them. It was a fun challenge that required teamwork, coordination, and quick reflexes.

Teams protected their seahorses by tossing beanbags at "sea snakes" (bowling pins) balanced on a chair. The goal was to knock down as many sea snakes as possible before they could threaten the seahorses.

​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our campers' favorite game of the week! Standing in the Fairy Ring with one hand behind their backs, teammates worked together using only one finger to keep a baby fairy balloon floating in the air. Every successful tap earned a point, and the excitement grew as teams tried to beat one another's high scores.

Mischievous monkeys had piled giant "boulders" in front of the zoo entrance! Campers used beanbags to knock down the boulders so visitors could once again see the lion, koala, and panda waiting inside. It was the perfect game to celebrate the wobble-head animals created that day.

Camp Treats

No camp is complete without a few tasty surprises!
