This month we learned about Pablo Picasso and his affinity for rule breaking! Although Pablo himself felt he alone had the right to break rules, as he stated, "You must learn the rules and master the rules, before you can break the rules." But we also learned of his love for a child's art, as he stated, "All children are artists."
This month my students combined 2 Frankenstein 1/2 faces and Picasso's surrealism style and created a "Franken-Casso" masterpiece! Creepy and yet oh, so cool! To add to the fun, I supplied Smore kits and we had a blast roasting marshmallows over an open flame in the KITCHEN!
I know, right?!
