My husband Bill has tried many times to plan a date night for us. But, because I am not too keen on surprises, he's had a hard time trying to find something cool for us to do. I recently decided I would try my hand at planning a date night for us!
First, I surprised Bill by making him nachos for dinner. (He had been hinting around that he was craving them for some time.) As I prepared the nachos I then decided to go online and see what movies were playing. Not many appealed to me until I came across one called "Gigi and Nate." The film is based on a true story of a quadriplegic and a capuchin monkey. Its opening night was the same as our date night. I was concerned about crowds, so I went online to purchase our tickets and choose our seats ahead of time. Once at the theatre, we decided to really mix things up and live on the edge! Instead of getting our usual large buttered popcorn, we opted to get our favorite candies instead; (Raisinet's, Swedish fish, and Peanut M&M's). I think next time I'll get the popcorn. My candy was gone before the movie even began!
