Having been a children's librarian means I LOVE art projects that are inspired by literature! This month's creation was inpsired by Sandra Dieckmann's book, "Leaf" about a lost polar bear trying to get back to his family. The story itself is a simple one, but the artwork is truly inspiring! Each page provides a feast for the eyes and inspiration for the inner artist!
This was a challanging project from a time perspective, but the students were up for the challenge and did truly wonderful work!
